Brian Dunphy I am an entrepreneur with over a decade of experience working with and founding technology startups.

As a co-founder of Radian6, I helped to build the highly successful Social Media Monitoring platform from the ground up which lead to an exit to (for $326M) in 2011.

I enjoy helping people develop their ideas. I frequently advise startups from Business Development, Technology and User Experience perspectives. I bleed startup.

Raymond Fitzpatrick

Investment Analyst, New Brunswick Innovation Foundation

Raymond FitzpatrickAs NBIF’s Investment Analyst, Raymond takes the lead on the initial evaluation of business plan submissions and conducts the financial due diligence on our start-up capital, innovation voucher and venture capital investments. He also assists in the management and monitoring of the NBIF’s investment portfolio.

Prior to joining the team at NBIF, Raymond worked as an accountant and then financial analyst at Irving Oil Limited in Saint John.

Raymond is a graduate of the University of New Brunswick (BBA), and a Certified Management Accountant. When not at work, Raymond plays hockey in a local league throughout the winter and with a co-ed softball league in summer.

Nestor Gomez

Manager ECM, McCain Foods

Nestor Gomez Nestor holds a degree in Cybernetics and Mathematics from the University of Havana, Cuba, and a diploma in Hydroinformatics from the UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education in Delft, the Netherlands. Nestor joined McCain Foods Global Information Services in 2006 and has worked in the areas of eBusiness, Data Warehouse, and Analytics. Nestor recently took on the role of Manager, Enterprise Content Management.

Marie Jo Thibault

Marie Jo Thibault Marie Jo joined the Wallace McCain Institute early 2014 to provide strategic direction and leadership to ensure the success of the WMI membership groups. She is the Executive Director of the ORDER of the Wallace McCain Institute, Director of Members Engagement and WMI representative on the Board of The Mentra Co-operative.

She is passionate about new business venture development. She has been involved with several start-ups at various stages, including Q1 Labs and Mariner. Marie Jo has been bridging the gap between business and technology for over 15 years.

In 2013, she attended the Innovative Organization program at the HAAS School of Business at UC Berkeley. Marie Jo is passionate about finding new strategies and tools to lead an innovative organization — capturing and capitalizing on the opportunities created by new technologies, new markets and new ways of doing business. The Business Model Canvas is but one of the recent tools added to her arsenal.

Marie Jo holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Univertisé de Sherbrooke and a diploma in Technology Management and Entrepreneurship from the University of New Brunswick.

When she is not at work, you can find her reading, at yoga, hiking, skiing or in her studio exercising her creative side.
